The battalion commander is responsible for everything the battalion does or fails to do.

Battalion Executive Officer

The battalion XO is responsible for Officers and the annual JROTC assembly at Leavenworth high school

Battalion Command Sergeant Major

The Command Sergeant Major’s responsibilities include the JROTC Ball and the NCO’s (Non Commissioned Officers) in the Battalion.

Battalion S-1

CDT/1LT Abby Steadry

The S-1 is responsible for the records of the cadets.  She records the awards, merits, and promotions of all the cadets.

Battalion S-2

CDT/SFC Christina McQuinn

The S-2 is the recruiting officer and responsible for the recruiting assemblies LHS JROTC hosts at the middle schools.

Battalion S-3

CDT/ 1LT Durand Park

The S-3 is responsible for training schedules, operation orders, arranges the Veteran’s Day parade, and other events

Battalion S-4

CDT/

S-4 is the supply officer and their big priority is uniforms and all the different awards, ribbons, and insignia that go on the uniform.

Battalion S-5

CDT/

The S-5 is the public relations contact.  He tells the newspaper of upcoming events in which cadets will be involved and also publishes the battalion newsletter, Sound Off.

Battalion S-6

CDT/2LT Dionna Simms

S-6 is the Information Manager. He is in charge of maintaining the website as well as helps with technical problems if any.
